Zero day in St. Arnaud again. We gave the bach a bit of a spruce up, left a koha, as well as some remnants from our resupply box that we elected not to take. Then migrated from Paul's bach to the lodge for the night, so that we could make an easy start tomorrow. The weather is supposed to turn quite poor tomorrow arvo, and we'll need to give the Wairoa river some time to drop after. So a days delay in town should make the trip run a bit smoother.
A couple more pizzas, some cricket on the TV, and we settled in to catch up on some writing.
