Highlight:
I enjoyed Te Arai Beach, the shorter beach walk that followed Pakiri beach. With the constant wind, my rain jacket had made it comfortable. With reception and phone battery to spare I opted for some music, and once on the road cracked the can of Coke (I had purchased this morning) and had a sugar/caffeine fueled walk to finish the day.
Challenge:
High tide. With the prospect of getting wet, I regressed back into the holiday park and made a bee line for the movie room.I set in for the next couple of hours with hot water coffee, rinsed feet, Māori TV and wasabi peas.
Emma could you of woken early and not fluffed around with tent drying ect. Maybe, but the potential of the coffee stand being open was worth checking out. Todays work was straightforward, I had time to kill. Which isn't always the case.
