Hightlight:

A short day has been well received by Trent, as his legs are still seizing up. It was also great to run in to our first other Te Araora hikers. A group of three women, a couple days away from the end of their hikoi. After starting their journey last year, they are exicted to get to Bluff. They advised there are no rats at Martin's Hut.

Challenge

An easy walking day meant, refueling required the most thought...

Learning

The Riverton museum tells many stories of the area; whaling, sealing, timber milling, mining, and agriculture. It's definitely an impressive collection.

After walking along Kekeno Place on Monday, today I learnt kekeno means seal.
